Rachel Brunner

Rachel joined River Valley Veterinary Clinic – Plain in 1994 having grown up on her parents’ dairy farm between Loganville and Plain. With her husband, Troy, she has a son, Noah, who is in the 8th grade. When not at work, Rachel enjoys making cards, camping, bicycling, volunteering at church and with the boy scouts, and singing in the church choir.

Sandy Perez
Office Manager
Certified Veterinary Technician

Sandy has been part of River Valley Veterinary Clinic – Plain since 1991. She earned her degree as a Certified Veterinary Technician from MATC in Madison and has taken college level courses at the University of Wisconsin – Baraboo. With her husband Raymond, Sandy has three children: Luke, Brooke and Conner; and two dogs Duke (chocolate lab) and Angel (English bulldog). Outside work, Sandy greatly enjoys attending sports activities with her family and afterwards likes to curl up with a good book.

Tammy Harms
Administrative Specialist
Veterinary Assistant

Tammy worked with Reedsburg Veterinary Clinic starting in 1993 and became part of River Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2009 when RVC was purchased by RVVC. She and her husband, Tim, have two daughters, Tarah and TeAnn who live in Madison, as well as a great dane and four lap dogs. When not answering phones at the office, she’s in the bleachers cheering on her family: TeAnn plays volleyball for Madison College and Tarah coaches volleyball and basketball for laFollette. She also follows her four nephew’s basketball careers religiously at home and on the road. Tammy truly enjoys her job at RVVC and everyone she works with, especially the people who come through the door.

Dawn Bernards
Administrative Specialist

Dawn has been with River Valley Veterinary Clinic – Plain since 2006. She and her husband, Mike, have two children: Megan and Thomas. The family also owns two Beta fish named George Foreman and Randy “Macho Man” Savage. She enjoys spending time with her children, crocheting, camping, hiking, caving traveling with her family and exploring interesting and unusual museums and landmarks.

Kim McGuigan
Laboratory Assistant

Kim has been with River Valley Veterinary Clinic – Plain since 1997. She has a dog, Tippy, and a clowder of cats. Her love for animals extends to the wild birds and squirrels she feeds, including the flying squirrels in the winter! Kim closely follows Packer and Badger football and enjoys crafting, knitting, counted cross stitch and gardening.
